Complex Magazine:On SNL, you had the good fortune to not only play the god Nic Cage but also act with him. Did that experience add to the Cage legend or humanize him?
Andy Samberg:It certainly didn’t debunk the myth. He was super charming and nice but he still came across pretty cool and badass and on the wind. We finished and walked off and he shook my hand there on the stage and was like, “Pleasure doing business with you.” And then he was gone, like Keyser Söze.
It’s not my job to make you a better man and I don’t give a shit if I’ve made you a better man. It’s not a fucking woman’s job to be consumed and invaded and spat out so that some fucking man can evolve.
